It's tough after transplant having these unexpected things come up. I get pneumonia at least once a year, sometimes 2-3. They usually tell me that CF in our sinuses, which we still have after transplant, drains into our lungs, and that is how pseudomonas gets in there. Granted, pneumonia doesn't always have to be caused by pseudomona, but it can. My coordinator is strict also, in the fact of reporting a temperature greater than 100 degrees, no matter what. I think we all learn after transplant that things can happen so quickly, and even a small fever can be something serious sometimes. Crazy.<br /><br />I know you are happy to be out and home!
